I grew up in Weymouth, Massachussetts and went to Boston University, where I graduated from the College of Communications. I am engaged to Erlyn Joy Guzman. My mother, Fern (Skye) Gladstone, is now retired but was a profeesional ballerina and ran dance schools in Weymouth. My brother, Daryn Gladstone, is a contractor in Southern New Hampshire, specializing in sunrooms and windows and is nearly a professional skier. My granparents were Faith and Douglas McLarnon. Gramp passed away in 1998 and Narni in 2007. I work as the Emerging Media Director for Food For The Poor in Coconut Creek, Florida, joining the company in February 2009 after a 10 year career in the newspaper industry where I led the online efforts for groups of newspapers in the Northeast. During my tenure at SeacoastOnline.com the site was twice named the best newspaper web site in New England by the Associated Press and received a total of 16 different awards, including a Digital Edge Award for best recruitment strategy from the Newspaper Association of America. In 2002 I was named to Presstime Magazine’s 20 up and coming newspaper professionals under 40 years old. My background includes stints in journalism, photography, graphic and web design, and sales and marketing. I've completed six super-8 and 16 millimeter films, two feature length screenplays, have had my photography and writing featured in newspapers and web sites, and have published a book, Bus Society - The Story of the Magic Bus. |
